Captain Dave Scott

After a long and dedicated service to our community as a nurse, Captain Dave chose to hang up his scrubs, and pursue what he calls his “hobby job”

Now, a professional mariner, his career has taken him as far as the arctic waters of Alaska where he operated a wilderness water taxi and guide boat service for several years.
But, as they always do, those warm and tropical Floridian shorelines slowly pulled him back home to us.

Captain Dave is at home when sharing the Pine Island Sound (Florida’s second largest estuary) with our guests. He loves exploring our barrier Islands, back water bayous, creeks and shoals with them, as there is always something unique to see…no trip is ever the same with him!

Captain Dave along with his family have been tying their boats up to the same Bokeelia docks, in Pirate’s Cove now for 30 years…this is our Captain’s home surf, and it shows.
